There is so many famous attraction in gunung kidul, yogyakarta. I went there with my housemate using motorcycle. We plan to visit 9-10 places, but because of the far distance from each places, we only visit 5 places in gunung kidul, of course in one day.
1. Ancient Volcano Nglanggeran
Welcome to the ancient volcano nglanggeran
We can do the tracking or hiking inside, I think you should use the appropiate dress, so that you can climb until the highest spot in this mountain. Cause I didn't wear the appropiate dress, I didn't climb to the mountain top. Oh yah, you must buy the ticket for IDR 6.000, to climb this mountain.

After come to this spot, we decided to come down, because there is many place that we want to visit today. Let's go to the next place.
2. Sri Getuk Waterfall
To reach the waterfall, we need to walk around 15 minutes, or you can use the boat in the river.

After play around in the waterfall for one hour, we decided to leave to go to the next place.
3. Rancang Kencono Cave
The cave's name come from the practical use of the cave. Because the cave is used for strategic planning for mataram troops, that's way the name is Rancang Kencono. (Strategic Planning in Indonesia).

4. Ngobaran Beach
Before I go to some place , usually I'll plan the list of places and the route map. Of course, I'll ask "mbah google"... (xi...xi...xi...). And Ngobaran beach is in the top place of the beach that I want to visit in gunung kidul. Why ? why don't you check it yourself below...

you can only play water on the seaside, mustn't play too far. it's always forbidden to swim at southern beach in Yogyakarta.
5. Indrayanti Beach
Actually the name of this place is not Indrayanti, it's Tulang Syawal Beach. Indrayanti is the infamous restaurant on the seaside. so do not be confused.

He...he...he...with this our trip in yogyakarta is done, my work were done too here.
time fly so fast, it's been 6 months since I come to yogya. I hope I can come again in the future.
