Short Holiday in Singapore, Day 3

Time passed quickly, today is the last day of our holiday in Singapore. Our plan today is to explore the Sentosa Island. If you want to go here, just took the mrt and alight at Harbour Front Station. You can exit to Vivo City Mall, and took a train to sentosa island. Actually, I plan to visit the Universal Studio but my friend didn't want to so we only took a picture in front of the universal studio mascot. Here is the pics.

I just hope that I can visit the Universal Studio next time.  -_-'
Ah if you want to go to Univ. Studio, just alight at Water Front Station. After took a picture, we go to the next place, Imbiah lookout, to try another attraction inside.

Our picture with merlion in the sentosa island.  The first attraction that we try was Skyline Luge Sentosa, you will go down with luge and climb back using this sky ride.

Here is our picture on the sky ride.

Say Cheese !  ^_^

After we tried this attraction, the next ride was 4D Adventure Land, we try the Extreme Log Ride. The third attraction was the infamous cable car in the Sentosa Island. Unfortunately we didn't took any picture in these two attraction.

The last attraction we tried was Tiger Sky. I took selfie picture inside.

Well,  we didn't really explore the Sentosa Island cause it seem my friend is more interested to do shopping in the Bugis Street, so we go back again to the place. After shopping at Bugis Street again, there is some time before our flight to Jakarta, so we decided to go to Garden the Bay.

You can use this car to go around Garden The Bay, though I forgot the fees.

Or you can use the bridge to cross the river below, and go the the garden the bay by walking around.
It will took some time cause the place rather far.

Arrived at OCBC Sky Walk. For you people who afraid of the height, I think you shouldn't go to this place.

Took my picture here. You can use the elevator to go above or using the stairs. Well, it's bothersome so I use the elevator.

The views from above.

Of course, I took my picture here, woooow, It's reallyyyyy higgghhhh!!!!

I am rather afraid so I always walk in the center of the path. If I want to take picture, I'll always grips the fence.

Marina Bay Sand Hotel.

This place is closed at  5 PM, so if you want to explore I think you should go between 2 or 3 PM. And don't forget to bring an umbrella. Well, my short holiday is done. See you again in another trips.

Short Holiday in Singapore, Day 2

The next day, we list a lot of places that we want to visit. I plan the place in accordance with the line at mrt station after I have many advice from our hostel staff. Our hostel "Tresor Tavern Backpacker Hostel" was located in Jalan Besar, the nearest mrt station is Farrer Park. I really recommended this hostel, the staff is really kind and advice us many attraction place that we can find in Singapore. They advice us too regarding the regulations, foods (since I am moslem), public transportation, etc.  Here is the picture when I am on the way to MRT Station.

Here is inside the mrt station. When I goes overseas, I'll always compare the public transportation over there with my own home country. It's really sad. I hope my country can have a structured and advanced transportation. Good Luck to our Government. This is your homework !!!

1. Haw Par Villa

The first place that we visit is Haw Par Villa.  I have read a review at google regarding this place, and decided to visit it. Since I come to Singapore on weekdays so there are less people in this place.  Yeey, we can take picture as many times as possible without take a turn with other tourist.

The gate entrance of Haw Par Villa. As you can see, there are a few people today.
Models mode "Switch On". (He...he...he...)

I copied the statue pose. I can take this pose without shame. Do you want to try it ?

I think each building has a story plate, so you can read the stories behind this statue or building.
It's refer to ancient chines story about god, heaven and hell.

Small pagoda in this place. I think this place is poorly maintained, since there is no entrance fee here.
Well, of course I'll be gladly to visit this place as many time as possible since its free.

Ah, I think below statue is refer to the story about hell or after life. Well I didn't look throughly to the history plate.

Ah, below is the story about white snake. Well I think you know about the infamous Chinese drama "the legend of white snake".  I really like this drama when I was small till now. One of best drama that I like.

Below is the story about Chinese god or something, but I forgot the name.

Blue wave, same theme with my clothes today.

As usual, small pagoda in the middle of the pond.

Took my picture here.

After we satisfied looking around this place, time to go to the next place.

2. Snow City and Science Center

The second place we visit is snow city, you can take mrt green line and alight at Jurong East Station. After that take the bus no. 335 or 66. Snow City and Science Center is located side by side, you can visit both of them at the same time. The first place we visit is the Snow City, the fee is $ 15 . I think you should bring gloves and socks if you want to visit so you don't have to buy on the spot.

I can't show you the pictures inside the snow city, cause we forbidden to take a picture. Well, you can buy a picture from the staff (there are the photographer inside that provide you the photos) but its really expensive. 1 photo for $20, more expensive from the entrance ticket.

After playing for one hour at snow city, I visit the science center beside snow city.

I only take a little pictures here. These are a few of them.

Let's go to the next place.

3. Jurong Bird Park

Next place is the Jurong Bird Park. At first we plan to visit the attraction here, but because of the expensive ticket we cancel our plan. We only took a little picture in front of the entrance and go out to the next place.

The beautiful garden at the entrance.

There is a small pond in front of the entrance, and you can find a good restaurant too. Maybe I'll explore this place in the next holiday to Singapore.

4. Chinese Garden

Actually today we visit this place for two times. The first one, at lunch time we have only walk around here for a bit, but there is an Indian man that follow us everywhere in this place, it's really uncomfortable. I have talk to him to not follow us, but he always disturb us. That's why we decided to go back early than we planned. The second time we visit in the late afternoon, well it's around 4 pm, I just hope that we won't see him again, and alhamdulillah we didn't see him , yeey, we can explore this place ! ^_^

Below is some pics that I took at the first time we come.

Here is our stalker. He is standing at the right side on below photo. We really afraid of him, since it's only us girls and only small people who come to this place at that time.

Here is the photos that we took the second time we come. We can explore this place at ease now. Here is one of the building inside the Chinese garden. The twins pagodas in the middle of the lake.

Got some nice picture there. I don't what gate is this, but inside they have a beautiful fish ponds.

In front of this gate there is a small bridge that lead to another gate. This is the view from the bridge.

Ah, here is the another gate that we talk about.

After this, it's time to explore the inside of the first gate. I have mention it before right ? The small fish pond inside. But unfortunately, we can't give a food to the fish here.

On the left side of the pond, there is a round gate that lead to outdoor garden.

After walking around, I am really tired. He..he..he...I found a nice place to sit.

Nice Garden.

I don't know what was the use of this doll, it is to drove away a bird ? It's a cute doll.

After we rest a bit, we walk around again and found a floating house.

Another floating house.

I took some pictures inside this floating house.

Got a nice pic on the sunset.

Small pathways.

After we took so many pictures inside, we decided to go to the last place we want to visit today.

5. Bugis Street

If you want to buy some souvenir, I think you should go to this place. It's more cheaper than Chinatown. You can use the mrt and alight at Bugis station.

Cross the road, and you will find it. It's across the bugis junction.

Well today exploration is closed by shopping in this place. I got some Bag $10 / 4 pcs,  rainbow skirts,  a watch for $5, a scarfs $10 / 3 pcs, chocolate, etc. Well have some fun to do shopping here.
See you tomorrow at my last day on Singapore.
